Melanie’s career in hair expertise began when she had the opportunity to work with top industry artists and clients from all walks of life, including celebrities and notable trend-setters at the world-renowned Horst Education Center.
After receiving one of the most advanced hair stylist education accreditations in the country, Melanie continued on to work with Regis Corporation as well as Paul Mitchell, and focused on continued growth in the area of education for hair stylists. As a Regional Trainer and Sr. Artistic Director at Regis, Melanie traveled nationwide to salons where she educated stylists in hands-on best practices and advanced trends.
Melanie developed a series of training programs and videos. In that time, she worked with hundreds of trainers in over 2,000 salons in multiple markets. Melanie created unique hair styles for photo shoots, commercials, and interviews that were featured on Oprah, The LA Times, Fox, MTV, ESPN, and more. Melanie’s prestige as a highly respected professional hair stylist grew dramatically and she enjoyed working as a designer and trainer with large corporations on creative and educational campaigns.
After decades of experience in hair styling and helping thousands achieve runway-caliber looks, Melanie Ash realized that everyone had one thing in common: the need to feel more fulfilled on the inside too. What they really wanted was to feel more fulfilled, vibrant and excited about reaching their goals. Midway through her career, Melanie began studying multiple healing therapies, and realized the massive value of doing inner work to release blockages and rediscover the balance in health, relationships, and spirituality. Melanie went on to launch her own studio for true total transformations, Melanie Ash Integrative Beauty. Melanie implements her extensive expertise in “Outer Beauty” including haircuts, colors, and new styles; along with “Inner Beauty” methodologies including Coaching, Reiki, NLP, and Goal-Setting.
